Tennis team takes on Poly

April 23, 2014

By Tamika Addison

The Patterson boys and girls tennis teams both play against Poly on April 10th.
All of the girls and all but two of the boys are brand new tennis players this year,
and unfortunately they lost the overall game to a more experienced team.
However, the Clippers managed to accomplish a number of feats that they should be proud of. Jackie Brock and Jaquel Crosby beat Poly’ s girls doubles team in a
match that lasted over two hours. Veteran boys Anil Magar ( the team’ s # 1 seed)
and Baha  al- Bataineh have been performing well, as has newcomer Sumir Subba.
Neema Tamang, Yonas Fishaye and Eric Altamira have also won a number of matches. They boys and girls teams both went on to beat Dunbar at a later game.
